DCU-Odense City Camp

In winter season, only for short time camp open, weekends

The campsite is located like a little oasis in the outskirts of Odense, surrounded by woods and with centuries-old oak trees in the back garden. Recreational area Fruens Bøge is just a 10 minute walk through the woods and includes a river, lake and a play area. If you follow the river you'll pass through Odense Zoo and the attractive Munke Marsh area and suddenly find yourself mid in the city's bustle just 4.5 km away.

Bicycles

It's a good idea to bring your bikes as Odense is a great place to go for a bike ride. There are 300 km of cycle paths in Odense, and many of them lead through attractive countryside.

City of culture

There's always plenty to see and do in Odense, including a wide range of attractions for young and old alike; H.C.Andersen's fairytale world being the main attraction.

Fyn

Some of the best child-friendly beaches on Fyn are just a half hour drive away, as are areas of attractive countryside, country houses and numerous other attractions and towns.
